Bag of the month!
Introducing my first and new blog series which I would like to call it, BAG OF THE MONTH. It's an idea of recreating different make-up bag each month for different looks, the items in my bag may alternation so you do not need to keep buying new things every month. May be some item you used from the previous month can be used in the following month as well. You can use the items that I have mention to recreate your own make-up looks as well, and most of the items I used are very affordable.
A disclaimer: I am not sponsored by any of the items I used in my series and all opinions are my own.
The first bag of this month are my daily essentials, these are the products I use for a day look suitable for a daily make-up look.
This look is suitable for college students who wanna look fresh or more primped up for a presentation, even working women can wear this look for a daily look. This look is also suitable to use on your first date, pretty but not too much.
So let's start off with the bag, you do not need a gigantic bag to fit all your make-up. The bag I am using is a hot pink pencil case which is pretty & small to keep on your vanity or in your bag. And, I fit my 9 essentials in here.
1. BB Cream
BB cream are like tinted moisturizers which give you a good amount of coverage and keeps your skin from drying and burning in the UV rays. I am going for a more natural make-up so I use my Garnier Skin Naturals BB Cream, if you want more information about this product refer to my previous blog post which I did a review on it.
2. Powder
I will always apply powder after I do my brows and eyes. I used the Rimmel London Match Perfection Powder in 100 Ivory to control my oily T- Zone calm the dewy-ness of the BB Cream.
3. Eyeliner
I used my KATE Super Sharp Liner in BK-1 to draw on my everyday eyeliner, mine is always winged out. This eyeliner stays on all day don't worry about it smudging! If I am wearing make-up I will never forget my eyeliner and brows. Eyeliner can define your eye and make it look more awake and fresh. Black liquid will give you more drama if you don't like drama yiu can opt for a brown one.
4. Eyebrow pencil
I used my all time favorite brow pencil, Empro Triangular Brow Pencil in e3 Golden Brown. This retractable pencil is really good in filling in your brows and brushing them out, because this double ended pencil has a spoolie at the for you to brush out your brows after filling them in. Brows are very important as they really frame your face. If you want a step by step tutorial on how to fill in your brows please let me know.
5. Lip Gloss
A lip gloss is a much easier way to apply some color and sparkle to your lips without worrying it will bleed throughout the day. Not forgetting it's easier to reapply throughout the day I used my Za Plumper Lip Gloss in 08 Sheer Peach. Go for a nude or peach to get a more everyday look.
6. Mascara
If you are blessed with perfect skin and full brows you can get away with just applying mascara and look absolutely awake and beautiful. Curl your lashes if you need to and apply 2 to 3 coats of mascara to give you a wide eye look. I don't curl my lashes that often as I am trying to given them so rest. I used my Majolica Majorca Lash King Mascara in black, it contains little hair fiber to make your lashes look longer after applied.
7. Blusher
To give your skin more color use a peachy blush to add a flush of color to your face you can skip this step if you have a red flush went in contact with heat. Some times I skip this as well, remember a flush of color only don't apply too much and look like a clown later. I use my IN2IT blush in MB 01 lovebird to give myself some color.
8. Bronzer
Contouring! I love this step to death! Seriously I can't tell you how much I don't hate this part! It really changes your face shape and nose shape with a brush it's like an instant plastic surgery. I use my Essence Bronzing Compact Powder in 02 Love to be matt with my fluffy brush to contour the sides of my nose and my face to make it look slimmer. ^_- **
9. Eyedrops
I have dry eyes and I wear contact lens so I need my eye drops from C3! Love it and never leave without it.
